Dr, Russell Petrie

Dr, Russell Petrie

Chairman

Dr. Petrie is a native of Cape Town in the Republic of South Africa. His family includes three generations of physicians: his grandfather, both parents and Dr. Petrie. His family moved to the United States when he was a toddler and he grew up in Rochester, Minnesota in the shadow of the Mayo Clinic. As a child, he would accompany his father during school holidays on rounds at the Mayo Clinic, and this early exposure set the tone for his adult career.

Dr. Nader Nassif

Dr. Nassif grew up in Southern California and attended the University of California, Irvine where he received his Bachelor’s degrees in biology and physics. He earned his Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School where he graduated with Honors. Dr. Nassif then went on to complete his residency training at Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri. Dr. Nassif has been active in research and the advancement of joint replacement and reconstruction surgery.

Dr. Bobby Charlu

Balaji (Bobby) S. Charlu, M.D. is an Interventional Physiatrist who specializes in the non-operative management of musculoskeletal and spine related disorders. He is Board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) with sub-specialty Boards in Pain Management and Sports Medicine. Dr. Charlu attended Michigan State medical school and completed his residency in PM&R at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Texas where he was Chief resident.

Dr. Herbert Eidt

Dr. Eidt is a specialist and expert in caring for patients with sports injuries including complex shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle problems. His expertise is in the arthroscopic management of sports injuries. Dr. Eidt is double board certified in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine as well as General Orthopaedic Surgery. He attended the military medical school, Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD, where he was elected to the national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha

Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick

Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick

Dr. Fitzpatrick is an orthopedic surgeon practicing at Mission Hospital since 2005. Dr. Fitzpatrick has focused his practice on investigating, diagnosing and treating sports injury. He has special research interests in minimally invasive shoulder replacements and arthroscopic surgery.  Currently, Dr. Fitzpatrick serves at Co-Director of Mission Hospital Orthopedic Institute and President of South Orange County Orthopedics. Dr. Fitzpatrick is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
